Ghyll Head Newsletter
Welcome to the first Ghyll Head newsletter, a space where we'll bring you regular news and updates from the centre, keep you informed about the great things we've been involved in, and give you a glimpse of what's planned over the coming months.
Supporting families
Over the past few months, we've been working with our partners in Manchester to deliver a range of courses and events. Tap the image to watch a video in which Claire Hall from Manchester City Council's Early Help Parenting team talks about the positive impact of our partnerships and how they can make a real difference in our communities. If you'd like to discuss your own ideas for partnership working, we'd love to hear from you.
Secondary revision weekends
We also offer Secondary Revision Weekends to help students prepare for exams while developing confidence and resilience.
To hear more about how these weekends in the great outdoors can support students email us at ghyllhead@gll.org or tap the image to watch a short video.
Personal development courses
We're passionate about helping people build skills, confidence and qualifications that open up new opportunities. Recently, we worked with our partners at Manchester Outdoor Education Trust to deliver fully funded training for Manchester-based Youth Leaders.
Whether you're developing your own skills or supporting others to thrive, we've got a course for you. We're also pleased to announce that new dates for our full range of National Governing Body courses are now available.

Planning a school residential during the Holy Month of Ramadan
February and March can be an excellent time for a school residential, offering great value and the chance to visit before the busy summer season.
As these months often coincide with Ramadan, we've created a range of resources to help schools, parents and guardians plan with confidence and ensure all pupils can get the most from their experience. For more information, simply tap here.
Thanks for your continued support
As a charitable social enterprise, which means every penny we make is reinvested into the services we provide in your local community. We couldn't do that without your support and we're proud to work in partnership with Manchester City Council.
