Team Challenge Events

Take your team to the next level with our Weekend Outdoor Team Challenge, tailored to your group's specific goals. Designed for multiple teams of up to 10 people, different challenges are set to promote collaboration, resilience and problem-solving in an inspiring outdoor setting.

Work Party Volunteering

Our Volunteering Days are a great low cost way for you to visit Ghyll Head with friends, colleagues or as a special interest group. We can also offer free overnight stays when you visit. Please just let us know what you interests are and we can build an event around you and your group.

We don't charge for volunteering days. However, if you would like to add extras after a volunteering day or extend your visit overnight, we can also offer low cost options for you. A few Optional Extra suggestions below. Our outdoor work party days usually involve the following, but we can tailor a day to your group (assuming you would all be over 18):-

· You will make your own way to Ghyll Head arriving at approx. 9.30am

· Refreshments are provided on arrival

· Full group briefing – meet our staff and make a plan for the day

· Work Party tasks

· A break for lunch (Please bring your own pack lunches)

Afternoon work party tasks, we usually finish off with a camp-fire and marshmallows!

· Finish approx. 4pm (earlier during winter months)

Tasks could include (depending on the time of year) clearing paths, pruning overgrown shrubs, wood collecting, planting bulbs or general garden maintenance. If you have any particular skills, we would love to hear them!

Optional Extras

· Guided / self-guided walk or other activities when available

· Hot or cold lunches

· Afternoon tea & cake

· Overnight stays in our POD Village (free in return for a full work party day)

· Second day with activities (eg canoeing on Lake) @ Manchester Rate of £49.20+VAT per person (minimum 10, Maximum 24)

· Lake Cruise (via Windermere Lake Cruises)
